OUR WORK
What is the Gyan Vidhya Mandir?
Gyan Vidhya Mandir is a co-educational school with nearly 350 girls and boys from the ages of 4 to 14 years. The children that attend the school are from the nearby slum area coming from difficult and challenging backgrounds where often their family doesn’t know where their next meal is going to come from.
How your donations have helped:
The school has been refurbished from an existing dilapidated school, built to purpose with theme based classrooms, computer labs and a library. We are very proud of our excellent and dedicated staff, all trained at Jagriti’s teacher training institute, who bring the joy of education to the children in our school.
CHILDREN HAVE GONE FROM RAG-PICKING TO STUDYING
ESTABLISHED SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTRES FOR MOTHERS
EASY ACCESS TO EVERYDAY SCHOOL ESSENTIALS AND MID-DAY MEALS
ABLE TO HOST MEDICAL CAMPS TWICE A YEAR FOR THE FAMILIES
EMPOWER UNDERPRIVILEGED GIRLS & WOMEN THROUGH LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS
The children are taught all subjects from Math, Science, Humanities, Languages, Music, Art and IT skills. They are also provided with uniforms, books, meals and most importantly a happy environment to learn in.

Vidyapath has partnered with Jagriti’s school Gyan Vidhya Mandir in Jaipur to provide the school with financial and strategic support. Jagriti is an NGO based in India which has restructured 18 government schools in Jaipur to provide quality education and they are continuing to add more schools.
